Thematic tourist route "Trails of Border Guards"

The thematic tourist route "Trails of Border Guards" merges with the Thematic tourist route "Trails of Lipizzaners and Kuna" in Požega-Slavonia County, the Regional Park Moslavina Hill, and the Nature Park Lonjsko polje in Sisak-Moslavina County. It is conceived as a link between the tourist offer in the area through which it passes, and is divided into two parts and three routes. Both units have as their starting and ending point the Sports Park in Garešnica, on the site of which in the 17th century there was a captaincy with a military station of the Krajina Army consisting of infantry (harams), cavalry (hussars) and artillery, commonly called Border Guards.

Thematic tourist route "Trails of Border Guards" is actually a line of movement of Border Guards and defense against the Turks, and connects natural attractions, archeological sites, catering, and sports facilities and is adapted to pedestrians and cyclists, equipped with urban equipment and interpretation boards.
