Matešin gallery
Description
Matešin Gallery was opened in 2002. It is located in the village of Bojana, which is 7 km from Čazma, 25 km from Bjelovar, and 60 km from Zagreb. In 2008, the gallery exhibited a permanent exhibition of works by the academic painter Franjo Matešin. In the same year, the Amphitheater was opened behind the park.
Within the gallery and amphitheater, art exhibitions of other authors are set up, concerts and plays are organized, films are shown, various promotions, meetings, and various other cultural and social events are held. Every year during Christmas, a special multimedia ambient installation called "Bojana Christmas in Bojana" was made.
Annually the gallery and events are visited by several thousand people from the country and around the world.
