Cycling route "Medieval trail"
Description
The trail begins in Repušnica (Visitor Centre), passes through Voloder, and turns to Voloder cottage, a well-known resort in Voloder whose history dates back to the aristocratic family Erdödy, where one can taste the Moslavina specialties and wines of Moslavina wine road.
It continues to Gornja Jelenska, where the fossil remains of prehistoric elephant and rhinoceros were found, after which it turns from the asphalt to the forest dirt road leading to the medieval burgs built in the 13th century: Jelengrad with a lovely view of the surrounding forest from its walls and Košutgrad near which are the remains of the Franciscan monastery in Podgradski Jarak. The trail ends in Mustafina Klada and it is characterized by a gradual ascent through beautiful landscape with numerous vineyards, orchards and forest resources.
