Description

It is a site in street "Kutinska lipa", for which archeologists assume that the remains of buildings are from between the 2nd and 5th centuries. The archeological site of Kutinska lipa has been known since the end of the 19th century, but modern archaeological research began in 2004 with short georadar measurements and initial excavations. Remains of solid underground structures - foundations, most likely several buildings from the Roman period, have been discovered. The site has been devastated over the centuries, and it is assumed that these are the remains of the former Roman settlement of Varianis.
